Gradewise Privacy Policy
Gradewise is committed to safeguarding the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and handle the personal information of our users, particularly concerning accounts created by parents or guardians and associated child profiles.
Account Creation and Child Profiles
Gradewise does not permit children under the age of 13 to create their own accounts. Instead, a parent or guardian must register using either a Google or Apple account. Upon creating a parent account, the parent may set up child profiles with the following information:
- Child's Name (does not require uniqueness, and real names are optional)
- State
- Grade
- School Name (optional)
Each child profile is linked to the parent account. Children can only access Gradewise through the parent's login credentials.
Information We Collect
Information provided by Parents:
During account setup, parents provide basic profile details about their children, as noted above. Gradewise encourages parents not to use identifying details such as full real names when setting up child profiles.

Gradewise collects information related to the usage of our app, including device type, model, operating system, IP address, access dates and times, and pages viewed within the app. This data helps us ensure the security, functionality, and improvement of our services.
